One of my passions is gaming, which is something I'm constantly collecting hardware for. At the moment of writing I have a rather nice setup :
- AMD Athlon64 X2 5600+ (2.8 GHz)
- MSI K9N
- 4 GB of DDR2 RAM at 667MHz
- Gigabyte Geforce GTX260 (768MB)
- 320 GB Seagate Barracuda
- 2x 250 GB Samsung drives in Raid-0
- Vista Home Premium x64 for gaming
- A fairly up-to-date Gentoo for everything else :-)
All of that is stuffed into one of those old, beige cases that friends laugh at when they see me bring it to a LAN party.
They stop laughing when my games load faster than theirs, though ;-)
Of course, you need screens to play all the games on (such as Empire: Total War ...)
